About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance and Engineering Manager to join our team at Saint-Gobain Group. As a key member of our Plant Leadership Team, you will be responsible for leading the maintenance and engineering department, ensuring safe working conditions, and driving business continuity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a structured approach to maintenance, focusing on plant reliability and efficiency.
  • Lead the engineering team in improving plant performance, reducing energy consumption, and minimizing environmental impact.
  • Manage capital investment programs, ensuring timely and budget-friendly execution.
  • Collaborate with other departments to achieve plant and corporate objectives, including safety, productivity, costs, quality, customer service, and team development.
  • Ensure compliance with safety audits, risk assessments, and other regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience in a unionized manufacturing environment.
  • 3-8 years of manufacturing maintenance experience, with a proven track record of leading people and driving business results.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and lead all levels of personnel.
  • Sound understanding of business and engineering concepts, as well as analytical and financial issues, costs, and budgets.
  • Experience in leading sustainable cultural change and driving long-term strategic goals.
