Role Summary: We are in search of a seasoned, technically proficient engineering manager to guide a team of full-stack developers in creating tools and products for both external clients and internal users.

Your responsibilities will include delivering the product roadmap, nurturing the team's talent, and cultivating a people-centric, engineering excellence-focused environment.

You will collaborate with engineers, stakeholders, and customer feedback to inform your decisions.

Team Development: Build and nurture an inclusive, innovative, and high-performing team.
Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, performance evaluations, and career development discussions.

Work alongside each team member to enhance their skills through coaching, training, and mentoring, aligning their growth with personal and organizational objectives.

Technical Strategy and Execution:
Oversee and actively participate in the design and implementation of reusable components for dashboards and back-end systems.
Ensure adherence to high standards of code quality, performance, and reliability.
Lead and manage technical and engineering roadmaps to ensure alignment with the overall strategic plan.
Planning, Communication, and Stakeholder Management:
Collaborate closely with leadership and product teams to align technical strategies with overarching business objectives.
Plan, prioritize, and oversee the delivery of projects and initiatives in line with business goals.
Represent the teams in cross-functional meetings, providing updates on progress and potential risks.
Facilitate effective communication within teams and with stakeholders, fostering transparency and alignment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience as a Technical Engineering Manager.
- Experience leading large or multiple full-stack software engineering teams.
- Technical background with hands-on experience in developing end-to-end full-stack systems.
- Ability to balance technical and business considerations while delivering high-quality outcomes.

The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in Canada is between:
$139,000 — $209,000 CAD.
