MRO Weekend Shift Supervisor

This role requires a proactive leader who can drive performance, ensure safety, and implement continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise MRO weekend shift activities to ensure smooth operations.
- Achieve departmental targets for Delivery Performance, Quality, and budgets.
- Maintain high standards of shop organization, control, housekeeping, and safety.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to support Business Initiative targets, including Visual Management.
- Collaborate with Engineering to identify technical issues and develop procedures to ensure compliance.
- Handle labour relations administration and problem-solving effectively.
- Foster teamwork and improve motivation among staff.
- Ensure personnel receive necessary training as per Transport Canada and internal procedures.
- Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
- University degree or College diploma in Business Administration, Operations, Engineering, or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a supervisory role.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Experience managing/supervising in a unionized environment is an asset.
- Proficient in Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Understanding of and experience with Regulatory standards.
- Willingness to support requirements outside normal working hours.
