You will be responsible for designing complex precast concrete products, translating customer specifications into functional and manufacturable designs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Innovate and design precast concrete products, ensuring they meet customer specifications and are manufactured efficiently.
  • Provide technical guidance to sales teams and clients during the design and product development process.
  • Generate precise and organized production drawings, ensuring manufacturing feasibility.
  • Collaborate with various teams to troubleshoot manufacturing challenges and enhance production workflows.
  • Participate in project meetings, design reviews, and site visits to align designs with practical applications.
  • Support quality management and safety systems, ensuring products meet industry standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry advancements, maintaining knowledge of evolving design codes, tools, and practices.

Requirements:

  • Civil Engineering degree with P. Eng designation.
  • At least two years of experience in a similar role, with expertise in engineering design and quality assurance/control.
  • Strong knowledge of precast concrete, steel design, and software like AutoCAD and structural analysis tools.
  • Experience with quality standards such as ISO 9001, CSA, and PCI MNL-116/117.
  • Forward-thinking, problem-solving approach with a passion for continuous improvement.
