About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at TAGPUAN RESTAURANT. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food and Supply Management
    • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to ensure optimal inventory levels and minimize waste.
    • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Staff Supervision and Training
    • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food to ensure efficient service delivery.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Customer Service and Quality Control
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards to maintain customer satisfaction.
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform inventory management and cost control decisions.
    • Prepare food order summaries for the chef to ensure accurate and timely food preparation.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
    • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
  • Certifications and Licenses
    • Safe Food Handling certificate.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Client focus and flexibility to adapt to changing situations.
    • Team player with initiative and dependability.
