About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Buyer to join our team at Konbiniya Japan Centre. As a Retail Buyer, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with suppliers, negotiating prices and terms, and overseeing the distribution of merchandise to our outlets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supplier Management: Establish and maintain contact with suppliers to ensure a steady supply of high-quality merchandise.
  • Purchasing and Negotiation: Negotiate prices, discounts, credit terms, and transportation arrangements with suppliers to secure the best possible deals.
  • Inventory Management: Review requirements of our establishment and determine the quantity and type of merchandise to purchase, ensuring that our inventory levels are optimal.
  • Merchandise Selection: Select and purchase merchandise for resale, taking into account market trends, customer demand, and product quality.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise the work of other buyers, providing guidance and support to ensure that our purchasing goals are met.
Requirements
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
