Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Vice President of Credit Management. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and developing a team of credit professionals, as well as managing an assigned portfolio of clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and lead a team of credit professionals to ensure effective credit management and risk assessment.
  • Develop and implement credit policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Work closely with Corporate Banking, Global Markets, and other areas of the bank to facilitate and enhance the credit process.
  • Manage a full range of credit, trading, and transactional products for assigned clients.
  • Provide regular feedback and coaching to team members to ensure they are meeting their performance goals.
  • Identify and develop high-potential talent and provide differentiated developmental opportunities.
Requirements
  • Academic background with a combination of Masters level accreditation, such as an MBA or CFA.
  • 3-5 years of experience in lending, credit, or risk management with a strong background in banking.
  • Strong financial risk analysis and accounting skills.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication abilities.
  • Familiarity with the RBC Capital Markets credit process and loan agreements.
  • Ability to work in an interactive team environment.
