We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Vice President of Credit Management. This is a key leadership role that will involve managing and developing a team of credit professionals responsible for a portfolio of credit relationships within designated industry sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the team's workflow to ensure timely completion of annual reviews of existing credit relationships.
  • Ensure credit agreement terms are correctly reflected in the Bank's systems and that all credit documentation is accounted for and reviewed in a timely basis.
  • Provide transactional support to Corporate Banking and Global Markets teams, including credit transaction requests, trading line requests, and cash management requests.
  • Work closely with Corporate Banking, Group Risk Management, Global Markets, and Global Loans Administration to ensure a high level of service is provided to other groups within the Bank.
  • Provide regular feedback and coaching on employee performance and progress against goals, career progression, and continual training.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 to 8 years of work experience in corporate lending, credit risk management, or client relationship management.
  • An MBA or a Professional Designation (e.g. CPA, CFA) is considered an asset.
  • Strong financial and risk analysis skills, with a good understanding of accounting standards and financial modelling.
  • Strong understanding of credit documentation (e.g. loan agreements, security documents).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with strong negotiation skills and an ability to manage conflicting demands and viewpoints.
  • People management and coaching experience and an ability to work effectively within a team environment and to interact with all levels within the organization.
