About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Pastry Cook to join our team at 10tation Event Catering. As a Pastry Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, as well as coordinating special events and supervising kitchen staff and helpers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring high-quality presentation and taste.
  • Event Coordination: Coordinate special events, including determining the size of food portions and costs, and ensuring timely delivery of food and beverages.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, providing guidance and training on food preparation, cooking, and handling.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Cleanliness and Safety: Clean kitchen and work areas, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for staff and customers.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Skills: Attention to detail, fast-paced environment, repetitive tasks, client focus, organized, reliability, time management.
