We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Manager to join our Domestic Tax team at Grant Thornton. As a Senior Tax Manager, you will be responsible for owning client relationships within a wide variety of industries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with clients and the engagement team to develop exceptional tax planning ideas and solutions to achieve our client's business objectives
  • Be a leader in the management and development of our growing tax practice
  • Assist clients manage their income tax planning, implementation and compliance requirements including complex PHB corporate, personal, and trust matters
  • Identify, develop and pursue new opportunities for assisting clients with value added-on tax services
Requirements
  • Completed the CPA Canada In-Depth Tax Course, or have a Masters of Taxation degree
  • Substantive expertise with the tax-related aspects of succession, trust and estate matters gained as one element of providing corporate and personal tax planning and compliance services to privately held businesses
  • Ability to develop, present and apply new ideas, creative approaches and innovative solutions
  • Commitment to excellence in product quality and attention to detail
