About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team at 3331206 NOVA SCOTIA LTD. As a Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating and repairing metal parts and products using various welding techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpretation and Execution: Interpret welding process specifications and execute them accurately to ensure high-quality results.
  • Metal Fabrication: Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment to fabricate metal parts and products.
  • Quality Control: Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment.
  • Operational Support: Operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment, brakes, shears, and other metal shaping, straightening, and bending machines.
  • Material Evaluation: Determine weldability of materials and ensure that they meet the required standards.
  • Hoisting and Lifting: Operate hoisting and lifting equipment to move heavy loads.
