Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Building Maintenance Worker to join our team at SUPER 8. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our buildings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including adjustments and repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Make minor repairs to appliances and equipment.
  • Conduct safety and security checks to ensure a secure environment for our guests and staff.
  • Supervise other maintenance workers and provide guidance and support as needed.
  • Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies as required.
  • Perform other routine maintenance tasks, such as painting and drywall repair.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work at heights.
