Kitchen Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Kitchen Helper to join our team at Melville Country Inn. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment, preparing and serving food, and providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas
- Prepare and cook simple food items, such as vegetables and fruits
- Operate dishwashers and wash dishes, glassware, and flatware
- Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, and cupboards
- Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and sweep, mop, and polish floors
- Assist with food preparation, including peeling and cutting vegetables and fruits
- Take customers' orders and provide excellent customer service
- No degree, certificate, or diploma required
- Will train on the job
- Permanent employment opportunity
- 35-40 hours per week
- English language proficiency
