Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Millwright to join our team at Héroux-Devtek. As a Millwright, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial machinery and mechanical equipment in our facility.

Main Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair shop floor machines, ensuring they are in good working condition.
  • Troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis of machine breakdowns to minimize downtime.
  • Ensure operating safety devices function properly on completion of repairs, modifications, and installations.
  • Participate in the PM program to continuously improve all machines and equipment.
  • Follow up with contractors and suppliers to ensure timely receipt of parts.
  • Prioritize work schedule to minimize disruption to production.
  • Maintain and repair physical plant structure, ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Perform 5-S activities, including health and safety awareness initiatives.
  • Adhere to all Company policies and procedures.
  • Keep detailed and accurate maintenance reports and documentation.
  • Maintain a clean and environmentally safe work area.
Qualifications
  • Minimum Grade 12 diploma and Certificate of Qualification as an Industrial Millwright.
  • Working knowledge of safety standards and equipment.
  • Physical ability to lift up to [insert weight].
  • Ability to wear required PPE.
  • Meet security screening requirements as set out by ITAR/CGRP directives.
  • Own tools and equipment, including steel-toed safety boots.
Skills
  • Ability to perform tasks requiring high accuracy.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
