Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Millwright to join our team at Héroux-Devtek. As a Millwright, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial machinery and mechanical equipment in our facility.

Main Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair shop floor machines, ensuring they are in good working condition.
  • Troubleshoot and analyze machine breakdowns to identify root causes.
  • Ensure operating safety devices function properly after repairs, modifications, and installations.
  • Participate in the PM program to improve equipment performance and efficiency.
  • Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts.
  • Prioritize work schedules to minimize production disruptions.
  • Maintain and repair physical plant structures.
  • Enhance health and safety measures in the workplace.
  • Perform 5-S activities to promote a clean and organized work environment.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Keep accurate maintenance records and documentation.
Requirements
  • Minimum Grade 12 diploma and Certificate of Qualification as an Industrial Millwright.
  • Working knowledge of safety standards and equipment.
  • Physical ability to lift up to [insert weight].
  • Ability to wear required PPE.
  • Meet security screening requirements as set out by ITAR/CGRP directives.
  • Own tools and equipment, including steel-toed safety boots.

  • Ability to perform tasks with high accuracy.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Highly flexible and able to work in a diverse environment.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
