The Accounting Technician at CASILCO CORPORATION plays a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of financial data and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Educational Requirements

Applicants should possess a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program lasting 1 to 2 years.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and balance financial records across various accounts utilizing both manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
  • Oversee general ledgers and prepare comprehensive financial statements.
  • Record journal entries and generate statistical, financial, and accounting reports.
  • Prepare and file tax returns while ensuring compliance with government regulations.
  • Reconcile accounts and manage payroll processes.
  • Analyze financial documents and reports for accuracy and compliance.
  • Provide consultation for new business planning and operations.
  • Translate written materials and offer interpretation services as needed.
  • Prepare invoices, memos, letters, and administer contracts and other relevant documents.
