Job Title: Apartment Building Caretaker

Le Citadin 2022 I.N.C. is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Apartment Building Caretaker to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of our residential properties.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and waxing floors, as well as operating industrial vacuum cleaners to remove debris and dirt.
  • Empty trash cans and other waste containers, and wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings.
  • Make minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs.
  • Perform safety and security checks, and move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies.
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens, and clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures.
  • Work with minimal supervision and perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair.
Requirements:
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work in an urban area and a retirement home setting.
  • Excellent oral communication skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Dependability, flexibility, judgement, and reliability.
