About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Apartment Building Maintenance Professional to join our team at Le Citadin 2022 I.N.C. as a Residential Caretaker. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of our apartment buildings, ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilities Maintenance: Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Waste Management: Empty trash cans and other waste containers, and ensure that all areas are free from debris and clutter.
  • Appliance Maintenance: Perform minor repairs on appliances and contact tradespersons for major repairs.
  • Grounds Maintenance: Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens, and clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures.
  • Snow and Ice Removal: Clean and clear snow and ice from walkways and parking areas.
  • Technical Experience: Sanitation and hygiene practices are essential in this role.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: This role requires repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, and physically demanding activities, including bending, crouching, and kneeling.

  • Excellent Communication: Excellent oral communication skills to effectively interact with residents and colleagues.
  • Flexibility: Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities.

  • Reliability: Ability to maintain a high level of reliability and follow through on commitments.
Experience
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in a similar field of employment is an asset.
  • Language: Fluency in French is required.
  • Work Schedule: 30 to 40 hours per week.
