Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Production Print Field Service Technician to join our innovative team at Konica Minolta. As a key member of our technical support team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support and problem-solving within the production print environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform on-site maintenance and repairs for production print equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize production downtime.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly, utilizing your mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills within a production print environment.
  • Conduct regular inspections and implement preventive maintenance procedures to prevent equipment failures.
  • Install, configure, and calibrate production print machinery for optimal performance, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Collaborate closely with clients, delivering outstanding customer service and support to meet their technical needs.
  • Perform on-site service of MFPs, maintaining accurate records and achieving KPI targets.
  • Stay up-to-date with new technologies and maintain accurate records to assist other team members as required.
  • Lead referrals, assist with customer assessments, and design solutions to meet client needs.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in servicing and repairing production print machinery, with a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting within a production print environment, with a focus on resolving technical issues promptly.
  • Familiarity with a variety of production print technologies and systems, including installation and configuration.
  • Exceptional communication skills and a strong customer service orientation, with the ability to work independently and adapt to diverse client environments.
  • Ability to travel within Canada, with a valid driver's license and insurance, as well as a willingness to work standby and afterhours shifts as required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Working knowledge of calibration and RIP configurations, with experience in troubleshooting color-related issues.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to mentor and instruct other team members.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and technical excellence.
