Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Offer safety guidance and resources to staff members.
- Assess training requirements and organize safety training sessions.
- Track and evaluate safety performance metrics.
- Engage in reviews of new products and processes, including conducting hazard assessments.
- Assist in selecting suitable personal protective equipment.
- Encourage safety consciousness through effective communication and targeted training initiatives.
- Contribute to the organization's Safety Committee.
- Examine incident reports and take necessary follow-up actions.
- Provide training for new hires on safety standards and company procedures as required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a warehouse setting, with supervisory experience in a fast-paced distribution environment preferred.
- Forklift certification and experience operating reach trucks preferred.
- Strong multitasking abilities and attention to detail.
- Physical capability to frequently lift, push, and maneuver packages weighing up to 50 lbs, with some items potentially weighing up to 70 lbs.
