- 7-10 years of progressive leadership experience at a senior level.
- University degree in business, public administration, international development, health administration, global affairs, or a health profession.
- Previous experience as an Executive Director in the nonprofit sector would be an asset.
- Experience in healthcare administration or healthcare operations would be an asset.
- Experience in public speaking, public relations, and delivering presentations.
- Experience in fundraising, proposal writing, grant applications, and social enterprise.
- Experience in managing budgets, preparing financial reports, and securing funding from multiple sources.
- Ability to coach, motivate, and manage staff.
- Knowledge of good board governance practices and risk management.
- Exceptional networking and relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience in collaborating to build partnerships to increase the organization's long-term sustainability.
