Overview

At Rapid Haulers Inc, we are seeking a skilled Truck Drivers Supervisor to join our team. This role is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our trucking fleet, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods to our customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise a team of truck drivers to ensure they are meeting their daily delivery targets.
  • Monitor and manage the fleet's maintenance schedule to minimize downtime and ensure vehicles are in good working condition.
  • Coordinate with dispatchers to optimize routes and schedules.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve any issues that may arise during operations.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent communication with drivers and other team members. The successful candidate will be required to spend most of their time on site, with occasional travel to other locations as needed.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory role in the transportation industry.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
