Drywall Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Installer to join our team at Asset Rise Management. As a Drywall Installer, you will be responsible for applying, leveling, and smoothing coats of plaster to create smooth surfaces.
Key Responsibilities- Apply, level, and smooth coats of plaster to create smooth surfaces
- Clean and prepare surfaces for plastering
- Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners
- Finish corners and angles, and create decorative designs in the finish coat, if required
- Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets
- Mix plaster ingredients to the desired consistency
- Smooth out excess compound and allow the coat to dry
- Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound
- Cut openings in lath for heating and ventilation piping, ducts, and electrical outlets
- Install corner beads and wire mesh around beams to which plaster is to be applied
- Install metal stud framing and furring for interior drywall or plaster walls and ceilings, using hand and power tools
- Prepare wall and ceiling layouts
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
- Permanent employment
- English as the primary language of work
- 32.5 hours of work per week
