About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Installation Specialist to join our team at Cloud9 Construction. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for installing and finishing drywall to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pre-Construction
    • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements
    • Prepare detailed estimates and quotations for drywall installation projects
  • Installation
    • Measure, cut, and install drywall sheets to ensure precise fit and finish
    • Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints to achieve a smooth finish
    • Install exterior and interior steel studs to support drywall panels
  • Finishing
    • Finish corners and angles to create a seamless finish
    • Apply, level, and smooth coats of plaster to achieve a high-quality finish
    • Clean and prepare surfaces to ensure a smooth installation process
  • Quality Control
    • Inspect drywall installations to ensure they meet our high standards
    • Identify and address any defects or issues promptly
