This role focuses on strategy and operations, encompassing the planning, development, and execution of initiatives across various departments such as product, pricing, marketing, and customer service, while overseeing the management of our Canadian operations.
The Country Head is responsible for ensuring that the entity meets its strategic goals by offering leadership and guidance to the Executive Management team and staff.
Accountable for performance against the annual business plan and budget.Drive sustainable growth in business P&L and key performance indicators, including new customer acquisition, monthly active users, transaction volume, revenue, unit economics, and customer lifetime value.
In collaboration with our Compliance team, oversee, implement, and enforce company policies and procedures to adhere to relevant anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing regulations.
Responsible for reporting breaches and significant risk exposures to the Board.Contribute to the establishment of robust corporate governance practices and mechanisms.
Act as the executive director of the company, necessitating attendance at board meetings and involvement in specific projects or initiatives requiring executive input.
Lead the development of business cases for critical initiatives and influence the prioritization of partner teams' roadmaps through structured business impact and customer-centric frameworks.Previous experience managing intricate regulatory relationships is essential.
~ Experience in a global matrix organization and in rapidly growing international settings.
~ Previous experience with data modeling and analysis.
~ Ability to formulate high-quality hypotheses by integrating qualitative and quantitative insights.
~ Preferred:
An MBA or advanced degree in a quantitative field.
