Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Rotogravure Press Operator to join our team at Polynova Industries Inc. as a key member of our manufacturing department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mount and adjust plates or cylinders to ensure optimal print quality.
  • Fill ink fountains and maintain precise control over color and viscosity levels.
  • Set up and operate the rotogravure press at slow speed to check samples and ensure quality control.
  • Monitor and maintain regular press runs using computer control consoles.
  • Remove and clean plates and cylinders at the end of each press run.
  • Configure and adjust in-line binding and finishing equipment to meet production requirements.
  • Supervise and direct the press crew to set up, operate, and shut down the press.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, requiring attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and the ability to distinguish between colors. The role involves standing for extended periods and working under pressure.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work accurately, flexibly, and with good judgement.
  • Strong organizational and reliability skills.
  • Excellent team player with a focus on quality and productivity.
