TalentSphere Staffing Solutions is collaborating with a dynamic and innovative Plastic Surgery & Medical Aesthetics organization that provides cutting-edge surgical and non-surgical aesthetic solutions.

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled professional to become part of our supportive and highly proficient team of healthcare experts. The role of the aesthetic surgery nurse encompasses caring for individuals undergoing both cosmetic and reconstructive operations, assisting them in achieving their aesthetic goals, and delivering comprehensive perioperative and postoperative care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conducting patient assessments and reviewing medical histories and psychosocial factors prior to surgical procedures.
  • Administering non-invasive aesthetic treatments, including Botox, laser therapies, and chemical exfoliations.
  • Preparing the surgical environment before operations and assisting during invasive procedures.
  • Monitoring patients' conditions before and after surgical interventions.
  • Engaging with patients to discuss their procedures and clarifying what they can anticipate throughout the surgical process.
  • Providing postoperative care to ensure proper healing and recovery.
  • Delivering appropriate care for surgical sites and wounds.
  • Supporting patients and their families throughout the treatment journey.
  • Managing cosmetic and reconstructive patients with professionalism and empathy.
  • Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare team members to address all patient needs effectively.
Required Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) preferred.
  • Active registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) Certification required for roles in PACU.
  • Minimum of two years' experience as a Registered Nurse in the field of plastic surgery.
  • Certification in plastic surgery nursing is a plus.
  • Proficiency in electronic patient management systems.
  • Comprehensive understanding of cosmetic and reconstructive surgical procedures.
  • Vaccination against COVID-19 and other diseases is mandatory unless a medical exemption applies.
  • Experience in a private surgical facility is advantageous.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
