CWB Financial Group is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Portfolio Management professional to join our team. As a key member of our Commercial Banking team, you will be responsible for providing credit structuring, credit underwriting, risk management, and client-facing support for a complex and diversified client portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement credit underwriting strategies to support the growth of our commercial banking business.
  • Manage risks and day-to-day client relationships for Mid-Market commercial clients, ensuring that our clients receive exceptional service and support.
  • Partner with sales teams to develop creative and ambitious client solutions, while maximizing internal partnerships and specialists where appropriate.
  • Use knowledge of credit policies and arrangements to apply risk mitigation skills, ensuring that our clients' needs are met while minimizing operational losses.
  • Connect with clients daily to provide critical retention touch points and actively determine their needs, referring them to other business partners across CWB Financial Group.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require a Bachelor's Degree in commerce, finance, or accounting fields (or equivalent experience) with demonstrated and proven abilities within functions of risk management, banking, business lending, including significant direct experience with commercial credit underwriting across a broad range of industries.

You will also need to have directly leadership and coaching experience, as well as a strong understanding of our organization's credit policies and existing credit arrangements.
