About the Role

OAK & STONE CONSTRUCTIONS is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and extend lifespan.
  • Fabrication and Installation: Fabricate parts and components as required, and install new equipment and machinery.
  • Supervision and Training: Supervise and train other workers on equipment operation and maintenance procedures.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
  • Cost Estimation and Management: Estimate costs and materials required for maintenance and repairs, and manage budgets to ensure efficient use of resources.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Work Environment: On the road job, with regular travel to various work sites.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
