About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Roofing Apprentice to join our team at Always Roofing Ltd. as a key member of our roofing crew.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install or replace various types of roofing materials, including asphalt shingles, wood shingles, and masonry or baked clay roofing tiles.
  • Apply waterproof coatings to concrete or other masonry surfaces.
  • Install and repair metal roofs using hand and power tools.
  • Erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms.
  • Clean and maintain equipment.
Work Environment

As a Roofing Apprentice, you will work at heights, in noisy, dusty, and potentially dangerous environments. You will be required to work outdoors and may be exposed to various weather conditions.

Work Setting

You will work in various locations, including commercial, industrial, and residential settings. You may be required to travel to different job sites and work in different environments.

Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the roofing industry is preferred.
Physical Demands

This role requires you to be physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment. You will be required to bend, crouch, kneel, and handle heavy loads. You must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
