About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fitness Program Coordinator to join our team at Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services - CFMWS. As a key member of our Personnel Support Programs, you will play a vital role in delivering fitness and recreation programs to military communities across Canada.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, organize, and deliver aqua fitness classes to military personnel and their families
  • Design and implement fitness programs that meet the needs of our diverse client base
  • Assist with advertising and public relations to promote our programs
  • Monitor and report program attendance, and prepare evaluation forms as required
  • Provide lifestyle awareness information and liaise with external organizations to stay up-to-date on the latest trends and best practices
  • Maintain current certifications and abilities required to conduct aqua fitness classes
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A high school diploma and experience conducting aquafitness classes
  • A Fitness Leaders Certification - Aquafitness module
  • Current CPR and Basic First Aid qualifications
  • Experience in planning, organizing, and delivering fitness programs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
