Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plant Operations Manager to join our team at Atkore. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for directing and managing the day-to-day activities of our manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, productivity, and quality.
  • Lead a team of production staff and provide guidance and support to ensure successful execution of manufacturing plans.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive business results.
  • Develop and manage budgets to ensure cost-effective operations.
  • Implement and maintain a culture of safety, quality, and environmental responsibility.
  • Provide leadership and training to employees to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including employees, customers, and suppliers.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business, engineering, or operations management.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or operations management role.
  • Proven track record of improving efficiency, productivity, and quality in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing principles and practices.
  • Knowledge of safety, quality, and environmental regulations.
