About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Spadina Food Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our food service operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operations Management
    • Establish and implement efficient methods to meet work schedules and ensure timely food preparation and service.
    • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Staff Supervision and Training
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring high-quality service and food safety standards are met.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Financial Management
    • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and prepare budget and cost estimates.
    • Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock, and wastage to inform business decisions.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but experience is an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
