- Evaluate customer orders and accounts to provide the best solutions that save time and resources;
- Handle customer orders received through various channels including phone, email, fax, and online for both Canadian and American markets;
- Manage inventory transactions and logistics requests utilizing a range of systems and software tools;
- Address inquiries from customers and the sales team regarding product availability and suggest alternatives based on their requirements;
- Follow up with clients on pending orders that have not been collected;
- Coordinate with sales and marketing teams to align product delivery schedules with customer expectations.
A typical day:
Your day as an Order Management Coordinator begins with being available for incoming inquiries. Generally, dealer calls account for about 20% of your workday, while the rest consists of email requests processed in the order they are received. Throughout your day, you will work closely with internal partners such as Transportation, Distribution, Production, and Sales, enhancing your understanding of our internal operations and products, which prepares you for future career advancement within the organization. Quiet moments during the day can be utilized to enjoy a coffee or to deepen your knowledge of our ERP and Microsoft suite to improve our processes.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a commitment to excellence in every interaction;
- Strong problem-solving abilities, a positive demeanor, and meticulous attention to detail;
- Fluency in both French and English, with proficiency in written and spoken communication (English is essential for serving U.S. clients);
- Capability to multitask, organize, prioritize, and follow up within set deadlines;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word;
- Self-motivated with a strong initiative and quick learning aptitude;
- Familiarity with inventory management and logistics systems and software (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics AX) is advantageous.
