Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team at the Mississauga-Oakville Emergency Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support to our veterinarians and other staff members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of clinical procedures, including venipuncture, catheter placement, radiology, in-house lab work, anesthesia monitoring, and patient assessment.
  • Work collaboratively with our veterinarians and other staff members to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with pet owners and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance technical skills and expertise.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment.

Requirements

  • Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) or eligible to register.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
