Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Account Director to join our team. As a key member of our sales organization, you will play a critical role in the growth and expansion of our existing customer base. You will work closely with our customers to achieve business outcomes and drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and Execute Account Strategies: Develop and execute robust account strategies to help customers get the most value from CoLab and drive significant revenue growth.
  • Establish Strong Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers and net new strategic accounts.
  • Expertise and Thought Leadership: Serve as an expert to customers on CoLab and industry best practices.
  • Opportunity Identification and Qualification: Identify, qualify, and build opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with Account Executives and Customer Success teams to drive enterprise account expansions and renewals.
  • Business Growth and Development: Help drive growth among customers by understanding their business and technical needs to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Account Management and Administration: Manage follow-up conversations and document all activities in Salesforce.
  • Travel and Customer Engagement: Travel to customer sites on average 1 week per month to engage with customers and drive business growth.
Requirements
  • Enterprise Sales Experience: Related experience in an Enterprise or Strategic Account role within a SaaS-based business or an engineering background with strong closing skills.
  • Large Enterprise Customer Experience: Experience working with large enterprise customers (10,000 employees+) for at least 1-2 years.
  • Technical Product Expertise: Ability to understand and analyze use cases and demonstrate highly technical product knowledge.
  • Strategic Thinking and Complex Sales: A strategic thinker with the ability to navigate complex enterprise sales for a product that is new to market.
  • Account Planning and Selling: Comfortable with complex account planning and account mapping and selling across multiple departments.
  • Team Player and Ownership Mindset: Committed team player with an ownership mindset and no ego.
  • Passion and Self-Motivation: Deeply passionate and self-motivated to achieve goals and results.
  • Resilience and Adaptability: Resilient - challenges excite you and you're not afraid to overcome roadblocks.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills and ability to convey your message.
  • Fast-Moving Startup Environment: Excited to work in a fast-moving startup environment with a lot of change.
  • Manufacturing Industry Experience (Bonus): Bonus: have worked with manufacturing clients (including but not limited to automotive, medical device, and hardware/mechanical consumer products).
