Position Overview
Dynacare is in search of a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse for a full-time, permanent role within our healthcare collection center.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurate data entry of medical requisitions
- Managing billing processes for laboratory tests and issuing receipts
- Handling phone communications with professionalism and courtesy
- Delivering high-quality services to patients and healthcare providers in line with GDML standards
- Promoting the range of services offered
- Building and maintaining professional relationships with patients and medical personnel
- Providing clear information and guidance to patients
- Conducting various sample collections and managing specimens
- Preparing samples for transport to the main laboratory
- Ensuring the maintenance of equipment and supplies
- Generating administrative reports and compiling statistics
- Overseeing inventory management and supply ordering
- Maintaining a clean and organized workspace
Qualifications
- Must be a member of OIIAQ or possess an equivalent certification
- Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of customer service experience
- Proficient in blood collection techniques
- Authorized to perform blood draws
- Strong computer skills, particularly in the Microsoft Office suite
