About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at Monika Sethi. As a Home Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Medication Administration: Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, engaging in activities such as conversation, reading, and watching movies.
  • Household Management: Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and laundry.
  • Transportation: Accompany clients on outings and errands, ensuring their safety and well-being.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., nursing, social work, or gerontology).
  • Experience: Previous experience in a care-giving role, preferably in a home support setting.
  • Certifications: First Aid Certificate and any other relevant certifications.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
Working Conditions

As a Home Support Worker, you will work in a fast-paced environment, providing care and support to clients in their own homes. You will be required to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and stand for extended periods. A valid Basic Security Clearance is required.
