Position Overview:

An exceptional opportunity is available for a Licensed Speech-Language Therapist to contribute to our dedicated team at the Child Development Centre. This role involves delivering comprehensive virtual and in-person early intervention therapy services tailored for children from infancy through to school age.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a full spectrum of speech and language therapy services.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of professionals to support child development.
  • Engage in overnight visits to surrounding communities as required.

Work Environment:

This position is primarily based in a supportive environment that emphasizes a family-centered approach to therapy. We are committed to fostering each child's social, emotional, physical, cognitive, and communication skills.

Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $40.75 to $50.87 per hour, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes:

Qualifications:

  1. Active registration with the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of BC (conditional active registration is acceptable).
  2. Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
  3. Successful completion of a criminal records check.
  4. Possession of a valid British Columbia Class 5 driver's license.
  5. Eligibility for membership with Speech-Language & Audiology Canada.

Education:

  • A Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology is preferred.

Work Location:

This role requires in-person engagement with clients and families.
