We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in providing evaluation and treatment for communication and swallowing disorders in adult acute care patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans to address communication and swallowing disorders
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide patient-centered care
  • Develop and implement education programs for patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals
  • Contribute to quality assurance initiatives and quality improvement projects
Requirements
  • Current registration as a Speech-Language Pathologist in British Columbia
  • One year of clinical experience in a hospital setting
  • Valid BC Driver's License
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a hospital setting
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices in speech-language pathology
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
