About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Optical Technician to join our team at BMV Optical Technologies Inc. As an Optical Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and accuracy of our optical products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and Maintain Equipment: Operate ophthalmic testing and measuring instruments, set up and dismantle equipment, and ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory of optical products, including lenses and frames.
  • Quality Control: Conduct quality control checks on optical products to ensure they meet our high standards.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with our team to achieve our goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in an optical laboratory or related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, and physically demanding.
