Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at VertX Holdings Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards, and maintaining records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food preparation staff to ensure efficient and effective food service.
  • Monitor and maintain quality control standards for food and service, ensuring that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business decisions.
  • Supervise and check the delivery of food trolleys to ensure timely and efficient service.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring strong organizational and time management skills. The role is physically demanding, requiring the ability to work in a dynamic and ever-changing environment.

Requirements
  • College or CEGEP education.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a food service environment, or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Physical stamina to work in a dynamic and ever-changing environment.
