Associate Advisor Opportunity

Desjardins Financial Security Independent Network - Ottawa #118 is seeking a highly skilled Associate Advisor to join our team. As an Associate Advisor, you will play a key role in providing exceptional client service and supporting our Principal Advisors in delivering tailored financial solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct in-depth research and analysis to develop comprehensive financial plans for clients
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to clients, ensuring their financial goals are met
  • Utilize advanced customer relationship management tools to track interactions and maintain accurate client records
  • Assist with cash management, including budgeting and forecasting
  • Collaborate with Principal Advisors to develop and implement investment strategies
  • Monitor and manage client portfolios to ensure optimal performance
Requirements:
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to research and analyze complex financial data
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building strong relationships with clients
  • Knowledge of investment management principles and strategies
  • Understanding of financial planning and retirement planning concepts
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Mutual Funds licence
  • Life Insurance licence
  • Strong preference given to candidates with the CFP designation or actively working towards obtaining it
  • Driver's licence and car
