About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Martial Arts Instructor to join our team at Jeon Eui Taekwondo Inc. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality martial arts instruction to students of all ages and skill levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate and Instruct Martial Arts Techniques: Develop and deliver engaging and challenging martial arts training programs for students of all ages and skill levels.
  • Log Keeping and Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress, attendance, and other relevant information.
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Schedule classes, workshops, and other events, and coordinate with staff and students as needed.
  • Staff Supervision and Training: Supervise and train junior instructors and staff members, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Event Coordination: Assist with the coordination of martial arts events, tournaments, and other activities.
  • Group and Individual Instruction: Lead groups and individuals in martial arts training, providing personalized instruction and feedback.
  • Program Planning and Execution: Plan and execute martial arts programs, including curriculum development and implementation.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and repair martial arts equipment, ensuring that it is in good working condition.
  • Reporting and Communication: Prepare and submit reports on student progress, attendance, and other relevant information, and communicate effectively with staff, students, and parents.
Requirements
  • Certifications and Qualifications: Possess a valid martial arts instructor certification, CPR certification, and first aid certification.
  • Experience and Skills: Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in martial arts instruction, with a strong background in teaching and training.
  • Personal Qualities: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, staff, and parents.
  • Availability and Flexibility: Be available to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends, and be flexible in terms of scheduling and responsibilities.
