About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Senior Professional, Project Bidding and Proposal Management. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading aerospace company, Bombardier Defense, and contribute to the development of innovative solutions for military aviation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the engineering and project focal for missionized aircraft in the bid and proposal phase, ensuring seamless coordination and communication with stakeholders.
  • Represent engineering interests and interface with client technical/program office representatives and suppliers, fostering strong relationships and driving project success.
  • Develop and manage schedules, milestones, and budgets for technical activities, ensuring timely delivery and meeting customer expectations.
  • Lead and drive the involvement of multidisciplinary stakeholders to resolve technical roadblocks, risks, and challenges, promoting a collaborative and solution-focused environment.
  • Ensure harmonization of technical activities and delivery of all requirements within the scheduled timeframe.
  • Coordinate engineering resources to execute the project plan, identifying and facilitating the resolution of issues, and communicating effectively with stakeholders.
  • Be accountable for the submission of all deliverables, managing schedules, and facilitating key milestones activities in support of programs/projects.
  • Engage and coordinate supplier activities during the bidding phase, ensuring seamless integration and project success.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • At least 10 years of experience in engineering and/or technical project management in the aerospace industry.
  • Excellent understanding and relevant experience in aircraft product development from conceptual design to aircraft certification.
  • Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, and MS Projects, with strong skills in generating and presenting reports to various levels of the company.
  • Strong technical knowledge of aircraft, aircraft systems, and preferred knowledge of special mission equipment.
  • Familiarity with ITAR regulations and previous experience in government and/or military flight operations exposure would be considered an asset.
  • Ability to travel and work extended hours when required.
