Project Manager Administration Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team at Randstad Canada. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for assisting in various PM and administrative tasks for each of the construction projects assigned to the team.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in project reviews, quotations, and plans for completion date, budget, construction schedule, and processes
- Lead and communicate continuously with the site supervisor to ensure that all construction activities are progressing according to terms-of-reference, budget, and timelines
- Ensure strict and timely management and control of all assignment expenses, billings, extras, change orders, and construction costs
- Review construction documents/shop drawings for consistency with Dama's professional and quality standards
- Assist Estimation with the development of bid packages, communication with approved list of bidders, and qualification
- Assign and negotiate contracts to sub-contractors, ensuring they have the latest version of documents
- Responsible for maintaining cost tracking databases for all new construction projects
- Direct, coordinate, and communicate changes to constructions and equipment required due to cost, clarification, code requirements, and negotiate needed order changes as required
- Update and manage all processes required to efficiently execute projects
- Manage project turnover from the construction phase to the finished product, including setup teams, orientation walk-throughs, and coordination with landlords and the city
- Responsible for maintaining discretion related to all confidential/sensitive company and customer information
- Perform other tasks and duties requested by the Production Department Team Leader
- Minimum of 5 years of administrative experience
- Minimum of 5 years of project management experience
- Experience working in the construction industry required
- Basic construction, facilities, or comparable administrative experience
- Ability to manage priorities and highly organized
- Bilingual English and French (written/spoken)
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient with Microsoft Office – Excel and Word
- Works well independently as well as part of a team
- Attention to detail
