Job Title: Project Manager Administration

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team at Randstad Canada. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for assisting in various PM and administrative tasks for each of the construction projects assigned to the team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in project reviews, quotations, and plans for completion date, budget, construction schedule, and processes
  • Lead and communicate continuously with the site supervisor to ensure that all construction activities are progressing according to terms-of-reference, budget, and timelines
  • Ensure strict and timely management and control of all assignment expenses, billings, extras, change orders, and construction costs
  • Review construction documents/shop drawings for consistency with Dama's professional and quality standards
  • Assist Estimation with the development of bid packages, communication with approved list of bidders, and qualification
  • Assign and negotiate contracts to sub-contractors, ensuring they have the latest version of documents
  • Responsible for maintaining cost tracking databases for all new construction projects
  • Direct, coordinate, and communicate changes to constructions and equipment required due to cost, clarification, code requirements, and negotiate needed order changes as required
  • Update and manage all processes required to efficiently execute projects
  • Manage project turnover from the construction phase to the finished product, including setup teams, orientation walk-throughs, and coordination with landlords and the city
  • Responsible for maintaining discretion related to all confidential/sensitive company and customer information
  • Perform other tasks and duties requested by the Production Department Team Leader
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of administrative experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience
  • Experience working in the construction industry required
  • Basic construction, facilities, or comparable administrative experience
  • Ability to manage priorities and highly organized
  • Bilingual English and French (written/spoken)
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office – Excel and Word
  • Works well independently as well as part of a team
  • Attention to detail
