Our client, a prominent healthcare provider, is seeking a skilled Medical Imaging Specialist to enhance their dynamic team.

This role offers a multi-month contractual engagement.
Focus on Women's Health

Responsibilities of the Medical Imaging Specialist:
The Medical Imaging Specialist will oversee daily operations for fluoroscopy patients.
Responsibilities include preparing patients for examinations, which involves taking vital signs and conducting necessary tests prior to procedures.
The Specialist will provide comprehensive patient education before and after procedures, ensuring a calm and empathetic approach.
Set up fluoroscopy equipment to obtain high-quality images for each examination.
The Medical Imaging Specialist will discuss procedure outcomes with physicians and implement follow-up actions as instructed.
Address patient questions regarding procedures and subsequent care.
Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and maintain cleanliness standards in examination rooms.
Manage inventory of essential supplies and equipment, placing orders as needed.
Engage in ongoing professional development and maintain membership in relevant professional organizations.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and research projects as appropriate.

Qualifications for the Medical Imaging Specialist:
Associate's degree from an accredited radiology program.
Certified Radiology Technician (ARRT-R).
A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Medical Imaging Specialist.
Proficient in computer applications and standard office equipment.
