Job Title: Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Wosler Diagnostics Crowsnest Pass Ltd.

Job Summary

The Diagnostic Imaging Specialist will be responsible for operating ultrasound imaging equipment to produce and record high-quality images. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate ultrasound imaging equipment to produce and record high-quality images
  • Perform minor repairs and adjustments to equipment as needed
  • Monitor examinations to evaluate the quality and consistency of diagnostic images and make adjustments to equipment as required
  • Record, store, and process scanned images using camera units connected to the ultrasound equipment
  • Provide personal assistance to patients during treatments
  • Prepare examination reports for physicians
  • Check ultrasound equipment to ensure proper operation
Requirements
  • American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers Certification
  • Abdominal sonography, obstetrical and gynecological sonography, and peripheral vascular sonography experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail
  • Flexibility and reliability
Work Environment

The Diagnostic Imaging Specialist will work in a hospital/medical facility or clinic setting, willing to relocate. The work environment will require the ability to work under pressure, maintain attention to detail, and provide excellent patient care.
