We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Wosler Diagnostics Crowsnest Pass Ltd.

Job Summary

The Diagnostic Imaging Specialist will be responsible for operating ultrasound imaging equipment to produce and record high-quality images. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate ultrasound imaging equipment to produce and record high-quality images
  • Perform minor repairs and adjustments to equipment as needed
  • Monitor examinations to evaluate image quality and consistency, making adjustments as required
  • Record, store, and process scanned images using camera units connected to ultrasound equipment
  • Provide personal assistance to patients during treatments
  • Prepare examination reports for physicians
  • Check ultrasound equipment to ensure proper operation
Requirements
  • American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers Certification
  • Abdominal sonography, obstetrical and gynecological sonography, and peripheral vascular sonography experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail
  • Hand-eye coordination and flexibility
Work Environment

This is a permanent position with a 30-hour workweek. The successful candidate will be required to work in a hospital/medical facility or clinic setting and be willing to relocate.
