Job Summary

We are seeking a Treatment Support Specialist to join our Community Respite Services team. As a key member of our team, you will provide residential and support services to individuals with developmental disabilities and autism. Your primary responsibility will be to implement treatment plans, provide personal care, and support individuals in exploring relationships and community activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement treatment plans and provide personal care to individuals with developmental disabilities and autism
  • Support individuals in exploring relationships and community activities
  • Participate in development and implementation of Daily Activity Schedules (DAS) and Behavioural Tracking (BT) data sheets
  • Conduct assessments and implement developmental training and psychological/behavioural treatment programs
  • Provide assistance and support to other team members
  • Liaise with external agencies, school/day programs, and community resources
Requirements
  • Grade XII Diploma or G.E.D.
  • Certification in CPR and Emergency First Aid
  • Certification in Non-Violent Crisis Intervention is an asset
  • Successful completion of St.Amant training requirements during probationary period
  • Minimum of two years' experience providing services to people with disabilities
  • Experience supporting children is preferred
